Designed and built by James in 2003 for the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society's Gardening Scotland Show at Ingliston on the outskirts of Edinburgh this garden won a Gold Medal and Best in Show.

The garden combined marbled sandstone, hardwood balau decking and gravel to create a contemporary space with gently contrasting textures softened by Japanese Maples and herbaceous planting.
