Small Garden

The owners of this garden made an unusual request; they wanted no flowers. They envisaged a space that was structured and verdant but low maintenance. It was to be stylish, a bit formal, contemporary and great for entertaining.

The finished garden has a seating area on the sunny west facing perimeter, clipped box hedging, an avenue of standard Elaeagnus ebbingei which provides evergreen structure and a mermaid sculpture which adds interest and a focal point.
